Press Release: Proposals for inclusion of substances in the Candidate List kick off ECHA’s public consultations

The European Chemicals Agency (ECHA), on 30 June 2008, launched a new section on its website to facilitate public consultations which are required by the REACH Regulation. The first public consultation was also initiated on 16 proposals for the identification of Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC).
