On 29 April 2010, the President of the European Commission, José Manuel Barroso, embarked on his first trip to China since the start of the new Commission, giving continuation to the close cooperation established in the past 5 years. He went first to Beijing then to Shanghai for the opening ceremony of the Shanghai World Expo 2010. |
