Press Release: Poverty: Commission adopts Lithuanian programme to spend €77 million from Fund for European Aid to the Most Deprived

The European Commission approved on 30 October 2014 the Lithuanian Operational Programme to use the new Fund for European Aid to the Most Deprived (FEAD). Lithuania would receive €77 million in current prices in the period 2014-2020 to support the provision of food aid and basic hygiene goods to those most in need in the country. This sum would be complemented by €13 million from national resources.
