Press Release: Pat the Cope launches new EU fisheries body in Dublin

The Irish Marine Minister, Pat the Cope Gallagher, on 30 September 2005, launched the North Western Regional Advisory Council at an international meeting in Dublin Castle. The new Council, which will manage fisheries stretching from the north of France to the north of Scotland, will be based in Dublin and will include representatives from Ireland, Belgium, France, Spain and the UK.
