Press Release: Observatory on Infringements of IP Rights comes to OHIM

The Regulation entrusting the Office for Harmonization in the Internal Market (OHIM) with the European Observatory on Infringements of Intellectual Property Rights (formerly known as the European Observatory on Counterfeiting and Piracy) took effect on 5 June 2012. The OHIM President, António Campinos, announced that while the Observatory would continue with the projects currently under way, a comprehensive consultation exercise would be launched immediately to reach out to all stakeholders.
