Press Release: Nonsensical cuts must be avoided

Speaking ahead of the Fisheries Council, which took place in Brussels on 15-16 December 2011, Richard Lochhead, the Scottish Fisheries Secretary, said it would be nonsensical for the European Commission to reduce days at sea for Scottish fishing vessels while increasing the quotas they are allowed to catch.
