The new Management Board of the European Medicines Agency (EMEA), formerly known as the European Agency for the Evaluation of Medicinal Products, held an extraordinary meeting on 24 May 2004. Meeting in its new composition for the first time, the Management Board elected Prof Hannes Wahlroos (Finland) as chairman and re-elected Dr Jytte Lyngvig (Denmark) as vice-chairman. |
