The Commission on 9 November 2005 adopted a decision on the mobility of its senior management staff occupying functions of Director General, Deputy Director General, Head of Delegation and Hors Class Advisor at grades A*16 and A*15. This was the second mobility package at this level since implementation of the administrative reform. Among the decisions taken, Catherine Day was to become the new Secretary General, the first woman ever to take this responsibility. David O'Sullivan, who fulfilled this post for more than five years, was to become the Director General for Trade. The Press Release lists the Directors General and their Deputies as well as recent decisions on senior Commission personnel. |
