The European Commission on 24 May 2006 adopted a proposal amending Regulation (EC) No 1073/1999 concerning investigations conducted by the European Anti Fraud Office (OLAF). This proposal came as part of the overall plans for reform of OLAF and aimed specifically at improving the way the Office operates within the existing overall legal framework, which was not directly touched by this. |
