The deadline for the registration of widely-used chemicals in the EU, which was set by REACH, the Regulation for Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals was 30 November 2010. By this date, 4,675 registration dossiers had been successfully submitted to the Europea Chemicals Agency (ECHA) for 4,300 substances, including nearly 3,400 phase-in substances.
