Press Release: Minister Roche allocates additional EUR9.2 million for the Peace II programme

Dick Roche, the Irish Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government, on 30 June 2005, announced details of allocations totalling €9.2 million to the six borders counties (Donegal, Sligo, Leitrim, Cavan, Monaghan and Louth). The additional funding was being made available under a two-year extension of the EU Programme for Peace and Reconciliation 2000-2004 (Peace II) in Northern Ireland and the Border Counties. The Peace II Programme had been extended to December 2006.
