The Irish Minister for Education and Science, Noel Dempsey, jointly launched the EU Awareness Campaign on 4 October 2002, together with the Minister of Education in Northern Ireland, Martin McGuinness. The EU Awareness Programme is an information campaign for post-primary schools managed by the Louvain Institute for Ireland in Europe, with the support of the European Commission, the Department of Education in Northern Ireland and the Department of Education and Science in the Republic of Ireland. |
