The European Child Safety Alliance (Eurosafe), on 6 May 2009, published its Child Safety Report Cards on child and adolescent injuries for 24 European countries. It also released the Europe Summary Report Card which scores countries on their level of adoption, implementation and enforcement of over 100 proven, effective child injury prevention strategies. The Child Safety Report Card for Ireland showed that progress was being made with regard to child and adolescent safety across a range of sectors. Other countries included in the review were: Austria, Belgium, Cyprus, Czech Republic, England, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Netherlands, Portugal, Scotland, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and Wales.
