The European Commission on 17 June 2005 cleared under the EU Merger Regulation the proposed acquisition of Travelex Holding Limited (Travelex), which offers foreign exchange, payments and other services, by the investment funds Apax Europe V and Apax Europe VI (Apax). The Commission concluded that the transaction would not significantly impede effective competition in the EEA or any substantial part of it. |
