Press Release: Mergers: Commission authorises proposed take-over by Thule over CHAAS Holdings, Advanced Accessory Systems and Valley Industries

The European Commission has cleared under the EU Merger Regulation the proposed acquisition by the Swedish Thule of (i) the Dutch CHAAS Holdings BV, (ii) the US Advanced Accessory Systems LLC and (iii) Valley Industries Inc, all companies active in the utility transportation and car accessory industry. The Commission concluded that the transaction would not significantly impede effective competition in the European Economic Area (EEA) or any substantial part of it.
