The European Commission cleared under the EU Merger Regulation the proposed joint venture Jadrová energetická spoločnosť Slovenska, a.s. (JESS), of the Slovak Republic. The parent companies, who will get joint control of the joint venture, are CEZ Bohunice a.s. (CEZB) of the Czech Republic, and Jadrová a vyraďovacia spoločnosť, a. s. (JAVYS) of the Slovak Republic. The Commission concluded that the transaction would not significantly impede effective competition in the European Economic Area (EEA) or any substantial part of it. |
