Press Release: Mergers: Commission approves proposed acquisition of Carlson Wagonlit by CCI and OEP

The European Commission has approved under the EU Merger Regulation the proposed acquisition of joint control of Carlson Wagonlit, a company active in the travel agency services sector, by the US companies Carlson and One Equity Partners, a subsidiary of JP Morgan Company. The Commission concluded that the proposed transaction would not significantly impede effective competition in the European Economic Area (EEA) or any substantial part of it.
