The European Commission on 4 May 2005 cleared under the EU Merger Regulation the proposed acquisition of Creo Inc. ('Creo') of Canada by the Eastman Kodak Company ('Kodak') of the United States. After examining the operation, the Commission concluded that the transaction would not significantly impede effective competition in the EEA or any substantial part of it and has therefore approved the concentration. |
