Press Release: Mali: EU allocates an extra €22 million in humanitarian aid to victims of conflict

The European Commission increased its humanitarian aid funding to Mali by €22m to assist more victims of the conflict on 1+9 February 2013. This brings to €115m its emergency assistance since the start of the crisis in 2012.

The extra funding will increase food assistance and access to basic services throughout the country.

As of 19 February 2013, in 2013 alone the European Commission has mobilised €42 million in humanitarian aid for Mali.
