UK business secretary, Peter Mandelson, visited Germany on 5 February 2010 on a fact finding mission, to see how the UK could learn from the success of the country’s innovation network. During his visit, Lord Mandelson and Rainer Brüderle, Federal Minister of Economics and Technology, issued a joint statement highlighting the importance of EU Member States working together to pursue a co-ordinated, ambitious growth strategy. |
