Press Release: Lochhead seeks stronger voice in Europe

The Scottish Cabinet Secretary for Rural Affairs and the Environment, Richard Lochhead, met with farming and fisheries Ministers from the UK Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) on 23 June 2010. Talks focused on a number of issues, including the recent agreement that Scottish Ministers and those from other devolved administrations will have a stronger role during European Council meetings.
