Press Release: Launch of the Occasional Paper series

On 31.7.00 the European Central Bank launched the publication of an Occasional Paper series. The Occasional Paper series seeks to present policy-relevant topics to a wide audience, including other policy-makers, academics, the media and the general public. The ECB Occasional Papers will make public material used by the ECB and the Eurosystem. They will always contain work carried out by ECB staff.
