Press Release: Joint letter of the President of the European Council Herman Van Rompuy and President of the European Commission José Manuel Barroso on the EU participation at the G20 summit in Brisbane

On the 21 October 2014 in a joint letter to EU Heads of State and Government ahead of the 23.10.2014 - 24.10.2014 European Council meeting, European Commission President Barroso and European Council President Van Rompuy informed about the key issues coming up for discussion at the G20 summit in Brisbane (Australia) on 15-16 November 2014.

The two Presidents qualified the Brisbane Summit as 'the first G20 summit that focuses on the transition from fighting the global crisis to supporting the recovery'.
