Press Release: INTERREG III – The Commission adopts guidelines and indicative allocations per Member State for the new Community Initiative for cross-border, transnational, and interregional co-operation

The European Commission has adopted the guidelines for the new INTERREG III Community Initiative along with the indicative financial allocations per Member State. Assistance from the European Regional Development Fund will total €4 875 million. This follows the completion of a consultation process involving the Member States, the European Parliament, the Committee of the Regions and the Economic and Social Committee, on the draft guidelines which were adopted by the Commission last October.
