The customs operation 'FAKE', a joint operation by the 25 EU Member States was the first to be co-ordinated in the new permanent technical infrastructure of the European Anti-Fraud Office (OLAF). It was organised by OLAF and the Directorate General for Taxation and the Customs Union (TAXUD) from May 2005 onwards. Its final results were presented on 8 November 2005 in Brussels and Rome. Press Release lists netted counterfeits. |
