Press Release: Hungarian dual citizenship referendum fails because of low turnout

Results from the referendum in Hungary on 5 December 2004 show a majority voting in favour of offering dual citizenship for the ethnic Hungarians living outside of Hungary, however the proposed legislation is unlikely to become law because there were not enough votes cast for it.
