Federica Mogherini, the European Union's High Representative for Foreign Policy, announced on 28 July 2015 the adoption of a modified organisational chart of the European External Action Service.

This modified organisational chart is the result of a broad consultation which took on board many considerations, including recommendations put forward in the 2013 EEAS Review and the results of the recent Staff Survey, aiming at clearer reporting lines and responsibilities.
