Press Release: Government introduces landmark EU enlargement bill

The EU (Accessions) Bill was introduced in the UK House of Commons on 30 April 2003. The Bill, once enacted, will incorporate into UK law the Treaty concerning the accession of the Czech Republic, Estonia, Cyprus, Latvia, Lithuania, Hungary, Malta, Poland, Slovenia and Slovakia to the European Union, signed in Athens on 16 April 2003.
