Press Release: Gibraltar: securing a ‘stable and prosperous future’

Speaking in a debate in the UK House of Lords on 10 December 2002, the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office Minister, Baroness Amos, underlined the concern felt for 'a better future for the people of Gibraltar'. She said that the only way to secure a more prosperous future for Gibraltar was through a negotiated resolution of the dispute with Spain on all issues, including sovereignty.
