Press Release: Germany: No alternative to the process of European integration

The prospect of membership in the European Union is important for stability in the Balkans. Chancellor Gerhard Schröder reaffirmed this view during a visit to Berlin by Macedonian Prime Minister Vlado Buckovski. Schröder is hoping for support from all member states for the further process of European unification at the upcoming European Council meeting in Brussels
