The Commission sent reasoned opinions to Germany and Portugal to fully implement EU rules prohibiting discrimination in employment and occupation on the grounds of gender (2002/73/EC). It also decided to close the infringement proceedings on the same Directive against Austria, Finland and Malta after they successfully brought national legislation into line with EU requirements. |
