A major conference, co-organised by Europol and the European Observatory on Infringements of Intellectual Property Rights, took place in Alicante, Spain, 4-6 November 2013. At this occasion, a strategic cooperation agreement between Europol and the Office for Harmonisation in the Internal Market (OHIM) was also signed, to further expand the collaboration already taking place to mutually protect businesses and consumers against counterfeiting and piracy. |
