Ahead of the meeting of the Foundation Board of the World Anti Doping Agency (WADA), which will take place in Lausanne on 3 December 2001, the European Commission has selected 16 new pilots projects worth 2.5 million Euro for promoting the fight against doping. These 16 projects come in addition to the 3 projects announced last August, which are financed by the European Commission and implemented by WADA. Further to the 16 new selected projects, the Commission has received the conclusions of 3 studies dealing with doping issues.
