The EU and New Zealand on 21 June 2006 signed an aviation agreement which was to allow European airlines to fly between New Zealand and any EU Member State. The agreement removed nationality restrictions in the bilateral air services agreements between EU Member States and New Zealand. Any EU airline was therefore to be allowed to operate flights between any EU Member State where it is established and New Zealand. |
