Press Release: European Union donates EUR2 million to Serbian media

Under a new project designed to help Serbian media, the European Union has selected 19 media organisations which will be given between €50,000 and €150,000 each to cover specific stories. The €2 million project, launched in Begrade in November 2004, will help pay for the research and production costs of print and broadcast stories and documentaries. The media chosen for the project include newspapers, radios, television stations, press agencies, economic magazines and documentary production companies.
