Press Release: ‘European Professional Football against Hunger’ – The 2012 Campaign kicks off in Brussels

"Urgent action is needed in the Sahel where millions of people are facing hunger". This is the message of European professional footballers who are working with the European Commission and the Food and Agriculture Organisation of the United Nations to raise awareness about the urgent need to assist the victims of hunger and to put them back on the path to self-sufficiency.
