Analysis carried out by Europol shows that organised crime groups based in the European Union (EU) are illicitly trading endangered species of wild fauna and flora. The findings have been forwarded to Interpol’s Environmental Crime Programme, which assists countries in the effective enforcement of national and international environment laws and treaties. |
