The Irish Minister for Education and Science, Mary Hanafin, on 19 May 2005, attended a meeting of Ministers with responsibility for higher education from 45 countries in Bergen, Norway, to progress the creation of a common European Higher Education Area by 2010. An expert report presented to Ministers placed Ireland in the leading group of countries in terms of progress in implementing the Bologna Process. |
