Press Release: European Commissioner David Byrne at WHO ministerial in Warsaw – Commitment to turning the tide on the tobacco epidemic

David Byrne, European Commissioner for Health and Consumer Protection, presented the most recent legislative activities of the EU and the preparations which the European Commission is making for the next round of negotiations in March for the WHO Framework Convention on Tobacco Control at the WHO Ministerial Conference for a tobacco-free Europe in Warsaw on 19 February 2002.
