Press Release: European Commission clears Bulgaria’s financing of environmental clean-up of former coal mining sites

The Commission decided not to raise any objections to the conditions of the Bulgarian State's involvement in the environmental clean-up of former coal mining sites in the country. State financing of the programme will amount to € 19 million, which will be paid out over a four year period.
