The European Commission on 16 May 2006 found that a measure involving joint financing by the UK and Irish governments of City of Derry Airport in Northern Ireland was compatible with the common market. The two Member States intended to jointly fund a number of essential infrastructure projects at the airport together with Derry City Council, the airport’s owner. |
