Press Release: European Commission appoints a new Director-General to the Publications Office of the European Union

On 27 April 2016, the European Commission appointed Rudolf Strohmeier as Director-General of the Publications Office of the European Union as of 1 May 2016. Mr Strohmeier, a German national, was Deputy Director-General in the European Commission's department for Research and Innovation (DG RTD).
