Press Release: European Commission appoints a new Director-General to its department for International Cooperation and Development

On 4 May 2016, the European Commission appointed Stefano Manservisi as Director-General of its department for International Cooperation and Development (DG DEVCO) as of 16 May. Mr Manservisi, an Italian national, was Head of Cabinet of High Representative/ Vice-President of the European Commission Federica Mogherini.
