Press Release: EU needs to set renewable energy targets for 2020, EEA head says

The European Union needs to set renewable energy targets for 2020 to help cut greenhouse gas emissions and give energy markets long-term investment security, Prof. Jacqueline McGlade, Executive Director of the EEA, said in a speech at the International Conference for Renewable Energies, Bonn, 1-4 June 2004.
