Press Release: EU and Croatia agree employment priorities

As part of Croatia's preparations to join the EU, Vladimír Špidla, European Employment Commissioner, met with Croatian Deputy Prime Minister Damir Polančec to agree the main priorities for Croatian employment policy. The 'Joint Assessment of Employment Priorities' (JAP) examines the main strengths and challenges for the Croatian labour market with a view to preparing accession to the EU and Croatia's future participation in the EU employment strategy.
