The 5th EU-China Energy Conference took place in Brussels on 25 and 26 May 2004. Future co-operation will include discussions on the use of clean coal technologies and renewable energies, on co-operation in the areas of gas and oil and on energy forecasts in general. The EU and China aim to finalise discussions on an agreement on the peaceful uses of nuclear energy possibly before the end of 2004. |
