The EU-Algeria Euro-Mediterranean Association Agreement was signed in Valencia on 22 April 2002. The signing of the Agreement establishes a new framework for deepening bilateral relations between the European Union and Algeria. Negotiations of the Agreement had been concluded on 19 December 2001, when it was initialled by the negotiators in Brussels. |
