Press Release: ESAs set out joint work plan for 2016

The European Supervisory Authority (ESA) - composed by the European Banking Authority, the European Securities and Markets Authority, and the European Insurance and Occupational Pensions Authority - published on 5 October 2015 its Work Programme for 2016.

The three EU financial regulators stated they would focus on the 'opportunities and challenges' related to the use of big data, suggesting that European banks and insurers could face new rules to control their use of data to target customers with products.
