The European Commission has decided to allocate an additional 20,000 tonnes of cereals to assist the victims of war and drought in Eritrea, as well as Eritrean refugees in Sudan. The decision is in response to the deteriorating humanitarian situation and comes on top of the approval on 23.5.00 of a decision to send 20,000 tonnes of cereals to Eritrea. |
