Press Release: Environment report shows benefits of EU action

A new 'European Environment — State and Outlook 2015 Report' published on 3 March 2015 showed that a coordinated EU environment policy had delivered substantial benefits for citizens over the past five years.

The European Environment — State and Outlook 2015 Report (SOER 2015) prepared by the European Environment Agency was an integrated assessment of Europe's environment that included data at global, regional and country levels, as well as cross country comparisons. It also looked at the next five years and beyond and sent a clear warning of the risks of environmentaldeterioration, in turn affecting human well-being and prosperity.
